Ericka Johnson, Professor of gender and society, Linköping University, Sweden.
Johnson is the director of the Swedish national graduate school for the Wallenberg AI, autonomous systems and software program – Humanity and Society.
She has an interdisciplinary background in sociology, gender studies, and science & technology studies. Her research explores how technologies - especially those of the medicalized body - refract discourses, articulate silent understandings, highlight cultural values, and make tangible social norms. Currently she is working on the meanings and uses of synthetic data.
