Sarah Hedman-Dybeck is a doctoral candidate in Comparative Literature at Upsala University. She is affiliated with the research environment VOICE: AI-Generated Voices: Legal and Societal Perspectives (Swedish Research Council, 2025–2030).

In her project, she examines the use of AI-generated voices in audiobooks, with a particular focus on how these technologies affect perception, the relationship between text and voice, and readers and listeners.
