Yulia Razmetaeva

Bio

Yulia Razmetaeva is a researcher / associate professor at the Centre for Multidisciplinary Research on Religion and Society at Uppsala University. She is also an Associate Professor in the Department of Human Rights and Legal Methodology and Head of the Center for Law, Ethics, and Digital Technologies at Yaroslav Mudryi National Law University. She has been involved in several interdisciplinary research initiatives affiliated with WASP-HS, including current project The Artificial Public Servant (2022–2026), which examine accountability and the impact of automated decision-making on public administration. Razmetaeva led the Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence European Fundamental Values in the Digital Era (2022–2025), co-funded by the EU. Yulia Razmetaeva’s research focuses on the ethical, legal and societal implications of AI, particularly for human rights, democracy and fundamental values in the digital age.
